The medical meeting in western Yamaguchi special lecture

Special lecture was held by Dr Iihara, Kyusyu Univ.professor of Neurosurgery from Kyoto.
Still 70,000people was suffered cerebral infarction per year.
treatment was dependent on the facilities, but intervention(tPA and angioplasty)was only 7%.
In Us and Eeurope, it was 20-30%.
He reported the treatment of cerebral infarction inour country, and showed angioplasty cases.

I had 2 Q.
1.Are CAVI and echo of cerebral artery useful for hypertentive, hypercholesterole, and Tabacco people?
2.we need to consider trasfer our patients to big facilities like Kokura?

he said 1, o.k.2.it depends on time not big facilities.

thanks for excellent lecture.
